STAY AT MAMA'S PLACE
If you'd like the authentic, immersive experience of the faire round the clock, consider renting an RV from our sponsor Campers4Rent! Click on their logo to be taken to camper selections, and don't waste time - campers WILL sell out for this event! If you have your own RV (or tent), come on and join the fun! (There are no hook-ups, so bring a full water load and generator. On site showers are not available - we're sorry!)
Prefer the less rustic type of accommodations? There are several hotel choices in Sulphur Springs, TX, which is only about a 15 minute drive from Mama's Place. Click the picture for a link to TripAdvisor's "10 Best Hotels in Sulphur Springs," and book yourself a nice, cozy bed for the weekend. You may also want to check out Cooper, TX - also about a 15 minute drive.
FESTIVAL EATS & SIPS
This year, the festival is 100% BYOB, so bring your favorite sips to the party! There will be food vendors on site all day, each day, serving fair food, Texas BBQ, tacos, and more! If you want to explore restaurant options, there are wonderful places to eat in both downtown Sulphur Springs and Cooper, both about a 15 minute drive from the venue. One thing is for sure - you won't go hungry while at the faire!
GETTING TO MAMA'S PLACE
Closer to the event, if you've purchased a ticket, the address to Mama's Place will be emailed to you so that you can use your Maps app (or directional app of choice). To get to downtown Sulphur Springs by air, fly into DFW or Dallas Love and take Interstate 30 East for about 80 miles. Exit 127 will take you directly into the heart of the town - North on Broadway.
If you have questions that haven't been answered by the information on this page, please email Leah at firstname.lastname@example.org. The most common question so far - seating. Please bring lawn chairs, blankets, etc., for seating, as only limited chairs will be available at the venue, and it is all general admission, lawn seating. Also, April weather is volatile in this area - bring mud boots, rain gear, and a jacket, if you can!
